Castletown

This is Castletown inner harbour, taken from the top of Rushen Castle. On the corner of the road, some new cottages have been built on what was once Castletown Brewery. It's still called Brewery Warf.

Here is almost the same scene shot from the harbour wall but the tide has gone out.

Just to complete the set, below is my favourite picture of the harbour, shot from the bridge and looking out to sea. The buillding to the right of the swing bridge is the "Castle Arms", better known as the "Glue Pot". I don't know why. As you can see, I managed this one with tide in around lunch time.
